couple of months. there is alot of various tech info/pics in here, i've tried to
seperate stuff by "**" to make skimming easier:

** fuel reservoir nightmares **

** the new place **
the first thing i looked at:
http://scirocco.dhs.org/vw/pics/0-allyn/imagepages/image110.htm
rieger arrives with its first trailer-load of stuff:
http://scirocco.dhs.org/vw/pics/0-allyn/imagepages/image111.htm
just how much stuff can you fit in the back of the green monster? (note: no
trailer this time):

neighborhood welcome committee (they dont bring food, they ask for it):
http://scirocco.dhs.org/vw/pics/0-allyn/imagepages/image114.htm

** big al's garage **
cycling some buddies cars through before the twin metalwork begins:
http://scirocco.dhs.org/vw/pics/0-allyn/imagepages/image116.htm
hrm... what car is that? the buddies e30m3 of course:
http://scirocco.dhs.org/vw/pics/0-allyn/imagepages/image119.htm
(i love that car)
...note the workbench and pegboard i threw up there...

** recent rieger work **
i rebuilt an a/c vac controller (the rieger has had a/c, but no damper control,
ever)
http://scirocco.dhs.org/vw/pics/0-allyn/imagepages/image120.htm
once that was in, my speakers arrived, meaning i had to take it all apart again.
guess what was in teh back of the rieger???
http://scirocco.dhs.org/vw/pics/0-allyn/imagepages/image121.htm
the 2 center ones of course. i think the other 2 will do much better.
rieger pieces go flying:
http://scirocco.dhs.org/vw/pics/0-allyn/imagepages/image122.htm
pile-o-factory wiring (plus some prev owner crapola):
http://scirocco.dhs.org/vw/pics/0-allyn/imagepages/image123.htm
interior in shambles:
http://scirocco.dhs.org/vw/pics/0-allyn/imagepages/image124.htm
and done (also, better view of workbench and stuff):
http://scirocco.dhs.org/vw/pics/0-allyn/imagepages/image127.htm
from completely disassemeled to stock in exactly one hour. you would think i've
done this before... :)

side note from stereo install: i was VERY pleased with the kicker 46m speakers.
they are designed to drop directly in place of the factory speakers, and they do
that very well. only minor trimming of the front grilles is required to clear
them. also, the magnets *just* clear the metal in the doors. also of note: they
have to be the best sounding free-air 4x6 speakers i've ever heard. i thought i
had a sub back there! (i only installed 4x6's all around, in place of the
factory speakers).

anyhow, thanks for reading/viewing, hope you enjoyed the show. sorry it wasnt
full of tube framed twin pics, but its coming... soon...
