Since we've been discussing stereos and speakers, I have a problem with mine. I have 5 1/4's in the doors but my door panels are made of what seems like 1/2" plywood or something. I'm not sure if this is normal for an '88 16v but either way, they rattle like hell. Is there an easier way to quiet them besides taking apart the doors to dynamat the inside? I've heard expanding spray insulation works and was thinking maybe I could get enough of the spray dynamat in there to do something. Otherwise, I'll probably just try removing the speakers and seeing how much dynamat pieces I can slide in through the hole.
