Ahhh...I hadn't heard of a California Edition before.
That explains a lot!

I just figured "California Edition" probably just
meant it came with all the extra smog equipment and
less power. :) Either that or it was something like
the people who are so proud to have those "Karmann
Edition" Sciroccos...a rare bird, indeed (NOT)!
