Schrick Camshaft question

Do you see a part number anywhere? I thought Oem had a part number =
stamped
on them. Post it if you find one.

Subject: Schrick Camshaft question

I have bought the following camshaft on ebay for my '88 Scirocco (hydro
head):
1097&r
d=3D1>>
If you look at the picture, there is no machining onto bearing #4, plus
there is a blue band between lobes for cylinder #3.

How to tell a real Schrick? I remember seeing a picture somewhere of a
Schrick Camshaft, and it had "SCHRICK" stamped on it.

The thing is, the camshaft I received is NOT what is in the picture. #4
bearing of what I received has been machined, and there is a VW/Audi =
logo
stamped on it, along with "Mexico".

In my basement, I have a TT G-Grind, a stock VW solid (85-86 Scirocco), =
and
the "ebay Schrick"

With a Mitutoyo Dial Calipere, I measured the lobes:
TT G-Grind - 38.2mm * 49.0mm
stock solid - 38.1 * 47.4mm
"ebay Schrick" - 34mm * 45.2mm

I know that you can't compare a solid with a hydro camshaft, but what I
received looks like a solid camshaft.

Before contacting the vendor, I'd like to confirm, if someone knows, =
that
Schrick Camshafts have "Schrick" stamped onto them.

It could be a mistake, but, I'd hate to think that I was shipped a VW =
Fox
camshaft...

Anybody has experience dealing with ebay regarding scams or similar
experience.

My head with the stock hydro Camshaft:

Cheers.
