manual steering rack q's...



They're not the same because the dash and steering column position are not
the same in the MKII Scirocco as the Rabbit/Jetta.  The steering wheel
sits further back in the Scirocco than the Rabbit - but they employ the
same steering column. The difference in distance is taken up by the
steering connecting shaft/u-joint shaft/drive shaft whatever you wnat to
call it:

	171 419 951 C drive shaft (manual rack Rabbit/Jetta/Conv)
	531 419 951 B drive shaft (Scirocco - note the 531 Scirocco
specific prefix.)
