Insane speed in german cars... [Maxima]

I thought so too -- Are you in Canada?  I think Canada may have just gotten 
the SOHC motor:

The 1992+ US SE got the DOHC 190hp engine:

(And by the way, C&D's top speed and acceleration numbers that I mentioned 
earlier were for the 4th gen.  The 1990-1994s are 3rd Gen, so top speeds 
would be lower.  God, I need to stop doing 2 things at once...)
