Metric vs fractional



Give me SI anyday - at least I can convert units as required without
needing to know how many feet in a mile/inches in a yard/drams in a pint.

Speaking of pints... It's not spring yet, at least not from the looks of
the wet snow outside the window.  Guiness is calling me.

PS Why the hell is a US gallon so damnned small anywas, while we're on
the subject?
