problem #1: your heater valve, the one that controls the hot coolant =
going to the heater core, is bad. it's a $10 item.
problem #2: my '87 16V did the same thing when I got it. Had the =
dealer charge the AC and the sluggishness below 3K went away!!! I =
cannot imagine why, though.....

I don't seem to get any cool air out of the vents, only heat...what =
could that be? Also, my car is sluggish out up to 3000 RPMs but realy =
goes after that...any suggestions?
