Parts of interiors of later model VWs work for older models.

Well for vacation I am going to see family up in NY
and a cousin of mine said that there were GTI VR6s at
his local junkyard in the Carmel/Brewester NY area
near the Danbury, CN.  I might be able to go check it
out.  I am wondering if any like interior parts like a
shift knob and boot would fit or any related items
that aren't engine related mostly cosmetic related?
