Bad clutch chatter

I am having really bad clutch chatter(CD-skip at 8x oversample) in first and 
2nd gears.  My clutch doesn't slip at all, but it engages almost 
instantly.... yikes, no good.  Does this mean I am going to be doing a 
clutch job this summer?
