Do 16v have life after 170,000?  I know my engine wore out and needs to
be resort, but for now it would be nice to do something to it not too
drastic.  I think I done all the tune ups: New spark plugs & wires,
modfiy airbow w/ K&N , distributer. Here what I thinking whats best and
what can I swap to a new 2.0L later so I don't waste money I really I'am
on a budget?
Headers.............MSD.................Cams..and what kind for
torque?.......and that all I can think of?



Hell yeah!!! Just keep the oil and filter fresh, and replace the timing
belt every 50K, or every other year, which is what I am going to do.

My '79 has an '88 16V engine with around 200K and it runs perfect, and
the compression is even at 180PSI.
