gas pedal grommet

Got that hard plastic one at a local VW shop for $1.90 yesterday...

Go to pep boys, Autozone and check those rubber bushings or rubber stops.
find one thats close to the diameter of the gas pedal round bracket, trim it
a bit , punch a hole in it and push the cable attachment in it. it worked
for me.
