IIRC, the same part is found on A2's (Golfs/jetta's), except it's a hard
rubber piece.
I need to get one of these, too. I'm pretty sure my stock foam one is almost
gone.

77 MK1, the round grommet that holds the throttle cable to the gas pedal.
That thing snapped and dissapeared!
I have it all zip tied up, but who knows how long that will last for.....
I called the local vw dealership and the guy said: "heh, sorry, we don't
stock parts for that car....the car is 3 years older than me!"....went to a
local pick and pull yard, and every throttle cable was already gone...
