Cam Question (8V)

yes, you do have the 1.6 head on the 1.7.
No it does not have the 1.6's cam in it.
For some inexplicable reason VW decided that the 1.7 should have a milder 
cam than the 1.6. Aparently the larger displacement doesn't need to breathe 
as well....
