The car I was killing :) was a 2001 or 2002 model with only 9,000 miles
on it. All leather, full power, a/c and a fatty stereo system. I even
drove it after I raced with him and it wasn't feeling too torquey, but
the speed was deceiving when you _finally_ got the thing spun up into
the higher RMP's. My 4 cyclinder 16v _definitly_ spun up way faster.
For those who don't know...my motor is worked. P&P head, Autotech cams,
springs and retainers, bored to 2008, 11.2:1 compression, balanced
bottom end. I don't have a/c, power steering, and I had the car weighed
w/o driver.. it's 2100 lbs. Since I'm in California I'm still running a
cat, at least for a few more months ;).
Come and see it at the ND show next weekend if you haven't already.
