a/c elim kit from rpi



Eric,
    The title of this article in the link below is 'Alternator retro' fit
but it is actually ac removal and alternator upgrade.  I did this to my 84
8v without any problems.  Once all the ac and all the ac brackets are off,
the alternator mounts to the block.  The key is sourcing the correct pulley
combination from any A1 without ac.  Also, when you find the right
combination in the junk yard, you will see how the alternator is mounted.
Used pulleys and new belt ran about $20.
