Mk1 radiator and ETKA - waz up wit dat?

I got my huge order from Adirondack today for my 2.0 swap into my
81(gotta love going the OEM route - them's some nice parts! :)  Anyways
the radiator arrived with pins on the bottom.  They sent me VW part #
171.121.253.AM  In ETKA (under german Jetta - 81) they list two rads,
18 and 18(A).  In the illustration 18 is the one I'm after - it's got
the mounting tabs on the bottom of the sides.  18(A) is the pin rad,
the same part number they sent me.  But under the text section there is
no part number listing for the 18 rad.  It only lists 18(A).  Anyone
help me out on this one?  I know I can just drill a hole or two and use
the pin rad if I need to, but I'm anal and want to do it proper-like :)
