Lighten US Bumpers

The previous owner did this to my car (81 S). It works really well.
When you feel how heavy that steel frame is, a bit of a "hacker" job
with some spray foam seems justified to me if you can't afford euros...
I'm going to rip the front one off and redo it when I install my faux
"S" spoiler. I'll post the diameter of the pvc pipe and how he
attached them. I believe he had to shave the pipe down a bit on the
sides and slam them in the frame rails with a BFH. He then drilled
holes into the PVC in the stock bumper bolt locations and bolted them
in place. It's really solid, and should hold up for years...

HTH,

Mark.
