Hey campers, been awhile since I rapped at ya. Sorry for the cross list
post but I figure this can go out to everyone. ND is quickly approaching
so its time to put that beer,bong,hooker down and get to work on the
cars. This upcoming weekend is the last weekend we have for detailing,
fixing, cursing, whacking and giving up and driving the shit boxes down
there anyway. My question is this, where would we all like to get
together to do this? John is have a little car show/detail day up at his
shop in Federal Way. Im probably not going to make it to that as I have
more mechanical things that need to happen and I'm still not sure I will
be taking my car down as opposed to the GFs. In case you hadn't heard
the rings are shot on my motor. Besides, I don't feel much like
polishing a turd.=20

So any volunteers? Sunday I am booked already.

You should all be registering for the show by the end of this week so we
can have our packets by the time we leave. Remember valid ID is needed
to get onto the show grounds. Check the ND site for specifics.=20

The drive logistics are pretty much exactly like last year.=20
Thursday
8:00 Debate on bringing my car or the woman's. Buy beer to speed up the
decision making process.
8:15 Girlfriend is hungry. =20
9:00 Change mind on which car to bring. Wonder where beer went. Call
Delong to confirm he will get up in time.
9:15 Girlfriend is hungry.=20
9:30 Delong backs out of going.
9:45 Girlfriend falls asleep.
10:00 Contemplate going to bed. Buy beer to speed up the decision making
process.
10:40 Load up crap in car. Consider taking the other car. Check misc
leak levels.=20
11:00 Vow to take the rest of the crap out to the car later. Put in a
load of laundry.
11:15 Pass out.
12:00 Wake to find you have missed the best part of the Stick Shark
infomercial. Fade back into sleep. Thank god tomorrow is Saturday. Curse
woman sleeping soundly for the past couple of hours.
12:30 Wonder what day it really is. Shit. Get laundry and put into
dryer.
1:00 Laundry still wet. Have a beer. Vow to get it in the morning.
Sleep.
3:00 Fuck. Run around house grabbing anything that's looks like you
should have it California. Wake up girlfriend. Girlfriend is hungry.=20
3:15 Get on I-5 Southbound. Realize that you have someone else's laundry
from the community dryer. Hope clothes fit. Hope clothes are men's. Eye
girlfriend for close approximation of waist size.
3:30 Meet at weigh station across from Wet and Wild on I-5. Girlfriend
is hungry. Suggest that she tries sleeping it off. Radios to channel 1.
4:00 Leave for ND. Contemplate going back and getting other car and
laundry.=20
6:00 Add oil to car.
9:00 Remind girlfriend that this is a fuel only trip. Andy radios in he
has to pee and we pull over. Feed girlfriend.
Noon Refuse to let Andy pick where we stop for lunch. Stop at a dive
truck stop instead. Its safer. Add oil to car.
