<P>i'm thinking of just replacing the fuel distributer, air box, and lights, better safe then stranded. the battery tray is corroded, but i don't know how bad yet. i hosed everything off real good when i discovered it, but won't know the extent of the damage to i get in there and really check it out.<BR></P></DIV>

<DIV></DIV>> > evils been having some charging problems, figured it was the battery since it has a 6 month old alternator. the other day i jumped evil to get her started and let her run for a while just to keep everything going. pulled her back in and let her sit for a couple of days. tonight when i went down to the shop, i popped evil's hood to check some things out, when i popped the hood i got a great big wiff of battery acid. apparently some time in the last two days the battery exploded and dumped all the acid out of it. it was fine when i put it away, so how the hell could this happen? i suspect that one of my "shopmates" did something funky to my battery and doesn't want to own to it, but before i go accusing friends of stuff i'd like to check with all of you and see what you think. can a battery just explode sitting there when the car has been turned off for a while? i never heard of such thing happening before.
