The advice re: racing w/o a realistic budget is right on, but there is an
on-line resource, something...Mouton...something that if you do a search
for is up to date.   SoloI used to have safety add-ons that are not 
cheap if you never use them, but sensible if you are unfortunate.
Mouton is Solo II, but would be good starting point.

RE:  Walker SuperTurbo muffler

These mufflers used to offer a lifetime warranty.  IME the nipples rust 
out here in Rust belt.
