turboed 16v



There is no kit available.  You have to build everything from scratch,
except for the exhuast manifold....you can still usually find one of those
new somewhere....

just checked http://8vturbo.com (note, NO www in front, or it doesn't
work).

They have 16v turbo manifolds for $450.  And you could probably piece
together the rest of the components from them as well.  Problem is, you
will need custom pistons to lower the compression (read, very expensive).
Unless you wanted to do a low boost setup....what I have thought about
around here at altitude (denver).  One lister was running only about 7psi
on stock compression, and from what I understand, it worked quite well.
