removing back seats

I did this about 4 years ago. Went and got a 4x8 sheet of that pressed cardboard stuff from Home depot and used the rear carpet to cut the trunk area shape into it and a cardboard template to match the floor where the rear seat used to be. Covered it all with black vynil. I even used the two screw mounts that used to hold the bottom of the rear seat to hold the new cover down. Looked ok, nothing but smooth vynil all the way back and a 10" sub peaking out.

And for you car stereo buffs, I turned the spare tire well into a subenclosure by sound deadening the well and covering it with one of those precut circles home depot sells to make decorator table. I even mounted the amp inside the well for a stealth look. Sounded pretty good even when I threw the factory trunk carpet over it to hide it. Speaker was a JBL 10" DVC. I never took any pictures.
