demetris, your statement and question is missing one thing.

what year is your car, and in this case I will explain why it is important

if your rocco is 82-84, installing a 25mm M/C will do very little in
improving pedal travel because it is a smaller booster on those years and
you need to upgrade it
if your rocco is 85-89, (which was what I did) the travel was almost
identical, but the breaks grabbed alot quicker on the pads. (thus I only
need half has much pedal pressure to stop normally)

  Subject: 16V BRAKE QUESTION

I upgraded my brakes last summer with 10.1" drilled rotors front and new
solid rotors in the back on my 1987 16V. I installed Mintex red box pads
and an Audi 25mm master cylinder.
Well, the braking does not seem any better than the stock set up. The
pedal has too much travel for my satisfaction.
my other car a 2001 TDI golf has excellent brakes and grab.
Grabbing is what my scirocco is lacking.
The brake pedal actuates a rod that compresses the master cylinder. that
rod is adjustable right? I am thinking I should play with it to minimize
pedal travel or I will screw something up?
  Demetri
