New Noise.. (oh no!)

Is it coming from the engine bay? I used to have such a noise at one time,
it ended being the dge of the exhaust donut that had disintegrated itself
(eh uit was 16years old) and at high rev 4K+ it would shwwooosh softly at
first but got worst in2 weeks time, I just replaced the donut and was done
with it.
do you have the notrmal exhaust on it (toilet bowl couplig with 2 C clips ?

PS: I have a 8v (9a) tranny mind you , I pamper it,, but I daily drive that
puppy and do dirt  roads (GRIN) spirited driving (practuicing my rally
capabilities on dirt/gravel roads (you'd figure I used a second car
eh...lol)
