cross drilled rotors [Larry's big but]

In my Passat, I cut the slots to the wear limit of the rotor. So when the
slots wear away, I know its time to toss the rotors. So if you like holes
better because they don't wear away as fast, then you need to quit worrying
about the holes and go measure the thickness of your rotor.

(I just re-read that, and it sounds like I'm bashing Larry, but I'm not,
just adding to a casual conversation)

Slots or holes won't affect wear rate of the disc significantly, but either
will affect things about the same way (unless you go nuts with the drill or
mill)

So Curtis and everyone else, slot away if you like the looks. I DID! Just
don't kid yourself about dry performance improvements. You probably get
more useable performance increase from a Folger's exhaust tip (except wet
weather).
