Engine Rebuild Costs - ballpark?

That's actually why I was asking... my engine isn't
that bad (150K) but I am adding the g-grind, and as
anal-retentive as I am, I know that I will want to do
more than just add the cam - I will want to start
replacing gaskets, and while I am doing that I will
want new rings, and.... well, it'll spiral out of
control :)

So is that a good deal for the engine?  $850 for a
rebuilt with no core deposit?

Opinions?
