Made a big mistake - test drove a WRX!

OK, this is only a feeler, but...
81 Scirocco S Mars Red 5-sp, Black/Gray interior, stock 13" wheels with
random Goodyear rubber. 1.8l Fox JN block, JH head, Fox intake manifold/TB,
CIS-Basic (no lambda). Dual outlet manifold, TT long downpipe, no cat.
Cracked dash, 85mph speedo. Front fenders are both a total loss from rust,
hood can be fixed, rust. Needs drivers door (rust). Daily driven, would
need shocks/springs/brakes for any sort of performance driving. $1000 or
best offer
95 Jetta GLX Candy White 5-sp, Black Leather interior, Stock BBS 15" RX on
Prielli P-7000. Stock VR6, with recent MKIV VR6 headgasket (raises
compression some), Turn2 Front engine mount. Stock exhaust (stainless?).
Bilstein sports/H&R sports, ATE slotted rotors/Ferrodo pads. 28mm Rear
sway, front strut tire bar, rear *removable* strut tie bar. Smoked
Fogs/blinkers/side markers. $7000 or best offer.
