A call to the electrical engineers of the list

The ones I have seen, dont have a fixed pulsewidth, but rather a fixed
frequency they are working with. This is 5,10 or 20 hZ, from what I have
seen available. The quicker you pulse the solenoids, the shorter life
expectancy they will have. Also, dont use a relay to drive the solenoids if
you are going to pulse them, the relay switches too slowly, and they dont
like being pulsed like that. You'll need something along the lines of an
ignition coil driver to do that...
