Im theory... YES. Seen one? No. CanI buy one? No.

Still, its FREE with purchase which means that any event you win,
contingency money (as well as free tires) come with it too. Does VW offer
anything close? Nope. Join their club and get put in a junkmail mailing
list and PAY them $25 to do it. WEE!!

Its a step in the right direction but its still a nose heavy non turning
PIG. I love the performance out ofthe motor in a straight line but beyond
that.... wont beat many cars in its category.

Well, ive got a couple answers.

1) When I met my wife, she was driving a flat 4 (non-turbo) Subaru wagon
that had 216K and she did absolutely NOTHING but drive the car. Change
the oil whats that? Geez. So, considering the abuse she put that car
thru, id say that Subaru makes a stout car. (My wife can break ANY car. I
should know, ive fixed enough of them.)

2) VW doesnt make a 227hp car so its not really a fair comparison.

3) I dont think there are ANY 300K WRX's out there yet. Give it time, im
sure there will be some.

4) given care and proper maintenance, most any modern car can last well
beyond 500K.

5) I enjoy the engineering/durabilty of a VW too! (Or I wouldnt own so
damn many of them.
