6spd tranny?



No, you're missing my point entirely. The 16v makes more torque at *all* rpm
points. The rush of hp at the top simply makes the bottom feel softer than
the 8v. Additionally, the difference in vehicle weight and often times
gearing affects the way the 8v and 16v cars behave.

Check the dyno sheets for stock motors (a fair means of comparison) and
you'll see what I'm saying.
