Oil filter compatibility?

on this same topic....

I changed my oil last weekend and was so impressed with myself that I had
remembered the oil filter part no that I didn't bother to cross reference
it.....


well.....I get home and pull the old filter off, and look at the
number......I'll be damned if I didn't buy a filter for my previous
ride...V6 Ford Probe. Guess what?

It works fine. Fits fine, flows fine.

Damned lucky.
