well.... tonight has been rather interesting... after getting the h2o =
pump out, and realizing that my wheel bearring is shot, and my rack boot =
is severd... i find this! see.. in order to get the strut/steering =
knuckle out, i realized that i didn't have the right size socket here at =
home to get the axel nut off. so i thought, "well self, it's really no =
big deal to ge tthe WHOLE drive axel out, and dissassemble it at =
school." so i started ripping and tearring at one more thing tonight. =
then just as i was taking hte last allen bolt out of the drive flange, =
"drip, drip, (faster) drip, drip!" and then i realized that hmm... this =
aint supposed to be happening! upon further inspection i noticed that =
the little seal(?) that's inside the drive flange was torn. should i =
just replace the seal, and forget about it? or could have some cv =
grease get in there and done something bad to my tranny? =20
thanks guys, tonight has been a rather interesting, patience trying =
night.
later
corey
