8v and 16V trannies are different in gearing. You can swap but you have =
to use the apprpriate clutch disc. The 16V main shaft is bigger.
If you hear noise from the tranny, it could be two things.
Something is loose and it's rotating in the bellhousing, or you have =
Selfmachining syndrome. either way the tranny has to come off.
