Josh Able: puny fuel injectors



ok, once again.

The set up can and does produce those numbers, it is right were it should
be.

Im not the only 1.8t owner with these injectors.

Well put Jeff, you are more tactful than many of us.

My point in this is that there is no way possible from a component or
engineering standpoint that Joshs 1.8t can be putting down those numbers.
Either someone has flat out lied about the dyno, or simply made a mistake
about the injectors and tuning.

One thing that even Josh should/must agree on that if your are going to o=
wn
a setup like that, it is in your best interest to know EXACTLY what you h=
ave
and understand the whys and hows it all works.

Second: To simplify, I don't think anyone questions that you were TOLD by
the shop who put it together that this setup was acceptable.

It seems to me that everyone is trying to alert you (some less tactful th=

others  :) to the physical restrictions of the components currently
installed in your setup. ---No one is making this up to piss you off or s=
hit
on your parade---. I think I can speak for most of us when I say that we
really are only trying to prevent you from running your setup in a
potentially deleterious manner. A manner which would only end up costing =
you
more $$$ and frustration....

You might just have to accept the fact that you might not have been as
diligent and involved as you could have been in spec'ing out your system.=
...
