okay found a car in VA what do I need now to get it back to TX

found an 8v automatic in VA.
now I know I need title and proof of insurance to get plates (and in Texas
you need TX inspection done)
how do I get the car from VA to TX without plates ?
what am I missing out here... any listers can help?
