besides, flares are much more fun to play with!! and if you need to light a smoke while waiting for the tow...or maybe if an animal decides to attack your new paintjob...or even for keeping those pesky mosquitoes away. 

(i seriously think i'd be in trouble if i had flares in my car  :)
