power steering fluid?

Does anyone know what type of power steering fluid to
use with a 16v power steering set up?  I bough a liter
of penostin 7.1 that I use for my gli jetta.  Is the
scirocco fluid the same (I am pretty sure it is, I am
just making sure before I dump it in though.)
