Stripper needed

Giddy up,
Actually I am looking for a something to remove the paint from my car since I 
have the dreaded Laquer crack going on here. I am referring to a chemical 
needed but if you know any strippers/bodywork women out there that would be 
cool too.
I remember one of you mentioned the orange stuff you get at Home Depot? 
Let me know what works and the general procedure associated with it, pros and 
cons etc.
