ok, from reading this the car (or light truck) has to be in running
condition. If it does become mandatory, then take the coil wire off your
car! Cars don't run too well without them and therefore you have just
slipped through a loop hole in thier law!

Then again, I'm not too worried. That's one of the perks to living in
Canada!
