Very easy.  Depends on what plug you are talking about, the frost plug or
the plug use to plug it in.  If you're talking frost plugs they are on the back
of the block.  Best to jack the front end way up, or put her on ramps.  If you
are talking the electrical plug- wherever you want it, though most people
snake them up through the grill area.  If you have a slide hammer or access
to one that would be an easy and clean way to remove the frost plug.  You
*may* get lucky just prying it out, but I wouldn't count on it.
As for the second question I don't see why not, I think they are the same,
but double check first.
