You could use a late model Fox Digifant intake manifold and throttle body,
but you will have to swap out a few of the parts on the throttle body where
the cable connects (it's different on a fox). Reason to use a fox digifant
manifold instead of a Cabriolet or otherwise is that the Fox part has the
correct direction for an A1 (cabriolet is facing correct direction, but is
missing another key feature). The Digifant part is the bigger throttle
body, AND the Fox digifart manifold has a port for the cold start injector
(cabby part doesn't). Plus it's got better runner's than other 8v manifolds.
How nifty! How odd? But true none the less. Now, for the best of both
worlds, get a Fox digifant manifold (good runners, port for 5th injector,
and opening for large throttle body), and a Digifant Cabriolet throttle body
(90 -92 or 93, can't remember. But big TB, and it's made for an A1, so it
has all the cable connection stuff on the top, not the bottom). Then you
don't have to worry about swapping throttle body parts, cause the Cabriolet
has them already.

Confused?
Anyone else know a better way?
