(OT) Who has today off!

I have a state job, but it is in Education, so they
roll all our holidays into the x-mas season.  2 weeks
off paid.

but Today is my friggin birthday, and I have class
until 7:30pm, then have to work until 11.

Here in the public schools, they are talking about
switching MLK to the first day of the ski season,
since 65% of the public school kids ditch that day
anyways...

State jobs are nice & secure, but you'll never get
rich working for the government (unless you are a
'crooked' politician)
