Fabled Junkyard

I'm bored, so I'm gonna tell y'all a story:

Me and a friend were talking the other day about rare Volkswagens and the
discussion moved to MK I Scirocco. That made me remember a junkyard I went
to about a year ago that had a whole mess of waterpumpers. Three of these
stand out in my mind
1. A champagne MK I Scirocco sitting on top of a Peugot. A stocker, it was
good looking until a tree fell on its hatch. Must have been a small tree
though. Only got the back of the hatch and the back of the roof. One good
thing about it sitting up so high is that it was almost rust free.
2. An A1 rabbit cabriolet. Somebody put a 16v and BMW rims on it and then
promptly smashed it.
3. Then there was this old A1 Jetta, I couldn't tell what year. I don't
remember what was wrong with that car. I don't think it was hit or
seriously damaged in any way. Only thing wrong with it now is some moron
took off the valve cover and the boot on the intake and left the hood up.
There was water and all sorts of other crap in the lifters and around the
camshaft.

Other than that I remember a coupla rabbits, two Karmann Ghias and two
Beetles. No MKII Sciroccos though.
