Trany gear Question.



Gears normally get tighter as you go up the box.
e.g for an ACN the ratios give the following steps
1st-2nd 56%
2nd-3rd 71%
3rd-4th 75%
4th-5th .73%

with a .91 4th and .71 5th the ratio steps are as follows:
1st-2nd 56%
2nd-3rd 71%
3rd-4th 66%
4th-5th .78%

So, there's a big jump into 4th and 5th is marginally tighter than the
original .75.
I'd think it would be a weird gear set and would stick with the ACN ratios.
