Intake Manifolds 40mm,42mm,50mm

is there such a conversion for the 8v model? a bigger intake ? or behaps a
bigger air entry float bowl ?

I have heard of these 3 size Intake Manifolds for 16V's.  I thought that
40mm was stock on a 16V Scirocco.  I know that the 50mm is available from
Germany.  Where does the 42mm come from?  Somebody explain all these
options.  Also any info on Thottle Bodies too.
