Turbo Q....for 16v

new turbo. Ive heard of lots of DOA turbos. Its worth the extra money
IMHO. A turbo 16V is not a backyard project, do the research and

Check e-bay for good rebuilt T3's for under $200 on a regular basis.  I
bought two of mine there under $100 last year.=20

But, to answer your question.=20

You will need a turbo 16v manifold.  Turbonetics is abour $375 for one,
AMS is $450+ you have to get it machined.  Or you can source out a home
built one for around $200. =20

Other needed items that you must buy/beg/trade for=20
Downpipe=20
Boost Controller=20
EGT=20
A/F gauge=20
Coppper Shim to lower compression + two stock headgaskets=20
AIC if your going over 5lbs boost=20
Blow off Valve=20
modified oil pan for turbo oil return=20
oil lines to and from turbo=20
water lines to and from turbo (if its a watercooled turbo)=20
silicon connectors for boost tubes=20
boost tubes, fabricate from 2.25 exhaust pipe stock=20

There appear to be several of us on the list building 16vT motors right
now,  Is anyone interested in setting up a time to chat about it on the
IRC server?  Trade some thoughts and ideas that will benefit all?
