Jetta recaros (was: OT? -- communter car search)

You will need to check the seat bases themselves. There are differences
between the 91-92 Recaros and the 90 down ones. On the '91-'92 ones I have
taken apart, the seat tracks and bottom are all one piece. This is different
from the early ones that have removeable seat tracks. If yours are the ones
without removeable tracks, it may be as simple as unskinning the two seats,
and changing coverings and padding.
