[16v][tech] Dirty intake valves?

OK, I've been watching this to see what the theories were on it. I'm
thinking it should prove to be interesting reading. Low and behold Rolling
Roc blows a head gasket. 1/4 million miles and a new short block on stand by
so I'm not bitching. Here's the rub, I notice the same thing. It's apparent
on 1,2,3 cylinders - 4 is carboned on both intake valves - it turns out
that that injector is crap. Drivers side intake valves are black like a
fouled plug from the guide to the seat. The passengers side intake valves
are as clean as a whistle like they were installed last week. So it looks
like this is not something that only Chris has.
