I got it to work in XP following Al's instructions....
copy: lexhdl5.dll from the \EPC_PROG.W95\ dir off the CD
paste it to your \prog\ dir, overwriting the old one....I think the idea is
to trick it, by using the Win95 file......

Don't know the 'how's', but it worked on my XP box!
